Statistics suggest that one in five Canadians will experience a mental illness in any given year, and that nearly half of all Canadians will have experienced a mental illness by the time they reach age 40. With such staggering prevalence, it’s time to talk about it and to ensure that resources are available to those in distress. It’s time to end the stigma, and treat mental health like we would our physical health.
